A much-loved British roadster, off the road for the best part of a decade — brought back with a full interior retrim, fresh carpets, a new mohair soft top and a hand-finished wood wheel.
It arrived running but tired: sun-baked seats, a floor that had seen too many wet weekends, and a hood held together mostly by memory. The body and mechanicals were sound, so this one was all about the cabin — making it somewhere you’d actually want to spend a long Sunday drive.
01 — Interior
Seats & carpets
We started with the seats. The original frames were saved, re-webbed and re-foamed, then trimmed in full leather up front with a matching set in the rear. With the seats out, the whole floor came up for a fresh carpet set — cut, bound and fitted to the original pattern so nothing looks aftermarket.

02 — Detail
The wheel
Nothing dates a restored classic like a worn wheel. This one was swapped for a hand-finished wood rim that instantly lifts the cabin and gives your hands something worth holding onto.
03 — Soft top
Hood & tonneau
Finally, the weather gear. A new brown mohair hood replaced the tired original — properly tailored, double-stitched and built to keep the British summer where it belongs. A matching mohair tonneau cover finishes it off for top-down days and tidy parking.
